  1. Trick-o-treaters are starting to drop by.

  2. Every year I have candy. Every year I do not have trick or treaters. Is it the dogs? Is it my habit of greeting strangers with several large dogs and a 12 gauge in hand?

  3. Got the windows drawn; only one light on, and the doorbell disconnected.
    Bring on the beggars!

  4. just ran out of candy.
    ~whew~, I figure around 250 or so.

  5. Henh-henh-henh…sucka!

  6. Heh, Blogger just told me FOAD (of course, they didn’t say FOAD, but they meant FOAD).

I just posted their email and my reply over at tactical nukes

  7. What climbed up Bloggers poop chute?

  8. umm, it might have had something to do with all of my emails and open letters posted on the web…

  9. Well, they didn’t perform like BigBoys, so to get a response like that from them, proves they really aren’t BigBoys.

  10. It also proves that they don’t give a shi+

  11. They don’t get paid to care!

  12. Hey…this from Ace of Spades.

“I guess Kerry wasn’t content blowing 2004, now he wants to blow 2006, too.”

James Webb, meanwhile, says he wants to blow the Vietnamese kid with all the gadgets from The Goonies.

    Upside down, of course.

Update: James Webb says that if the Vietnamese kid isn’t available, he’ll settle for Chunk.

  13. Hee-hee-hee-hee!

Some Video… of Matthews’ stalward defense of Kerry.

Greg Tinti wisely cut the clip before Matthews picked up Kerry upside down by his ankles and put his penis in his mouth.

(In fairness, it was an act of love and respect, not a sexual act. Jennifer Loven’s AP report proves it.)

  14. This is odd!

  15. ROFL! Oh my.

  16. In related news, the ghost of Genghis Khan issued a press release that stated “Vengeance is best served cold, and against an emaciated Thurston Howell wannabe.”

    Oh-Oh…my ribs…make them stop!

  17. Scott Ott…what more can I say.

  18. The Wonders Of Makeup.

  19. Oh this is funnie.
The caption to the video explains it all.

  20. woo hoo, had to watch the maze video twice. My ribs hurt.

  21. So I’m sitting here, goofing on the web a little, playing footsie with ma’boy Buddy the Cat, and watching UAB vs. SMU.
The SMU Mustangs, the only NCAA school to ever be issued the ‘death penalty‘ for recruiting violations, in the late 80’s, and they haven’t recovered from that punishment yet.
The head coach of SMU is an old friend, and caddy-corner neighbor, when I was growing up. Phil Bennett is his name, and he is about six years younger than me, and one of his older brothers(his running backs coach) and I graduated from high school the same year.
Of the three Bennett boys, Phil is the most interesting, and the most successful, of a family of coaches. He has served as defensive coordinator at Purdue, LSU, Texas A&M, TCU, Kansas State, before getting his first head coaching job, back in 2002. He was a Parade All-American linebacker in high school, went to Texas A&M on a full-ride, but didn’t get invited to the big show, so he got into coaching, seeing as how it was a family business.
When he got the Defensive Coordinators job at K-State, he had only been there a few months, and summer training was about to begin for the upcoming football season…it was mid August. His adored and adoring wife, and mother of their two cherished children, went out for her usual morning jog, after Phil left for the field house. Witnesses said it was a freak storm, just a small dark cloud passed over very quickly, no warning and no forecast for bad weather, and then it happened. A lightning bolt, from the tiny thundercloud, struck in the back, and according to witnesses, struck her so hard, she was literally thrown face first into the sidewalk. A bolt from out of the blue, both literally and figuratively. She was kept alive for several days, as the sad truth was she was no more, but the sad decision was delayed, in order to get all family and friends there that could come. Faced with this tragic loss, the demands of a Div-IA, nationally ranked team, facing another tough Big 12 schedule, and hopes for a National Championship, Phil soldiered on. They did well that year, only one or two losses, and a good bowl game.
Tonight, Phil’s team, the ‘Ponies are leading 15-7, with about 3 minutes to go, and if his team can hold on, then win at least one more game, it will be the first winning season the ‘Stangs have had in many moons, a possible bowl game, as a reward. I predict, that if Phil continues to get SMU to improve, he will get a shot at a coaching job at a big-time program one day.
    Go Ponies!

  22. Go Ponies!

  23. Correction:22-9.

  24. Go Stangs!

  25. Go Kerry!

  26. Oops, guess I got a little carried away in my cheering.
