Resignation Friday: Should Alberto go?

If you listen to the hue and cry of the Party of Defeat, and their allies in Big News, it’s only a matter of hours before Alberto Gonzales becomes the latest political casualty in the war against the culture of corruption in the Bush Administration. Fortunately for me, I haven’t listened to them since 1988, which coincidentally was the first time I voted Republican.

Should Gonzales resign?

Sandy Berger is not in prison, illegal immigrants continue to flood across the southern border, and Johnny Sutton was not among the eight US Attorneys who Gonzales fired. Gonzales serves at the pleasure of the President, so if the aforementioned problems aren’t enough to get him fired, then obviously they aren’t important problems to the President. I guess I’ll just have to chalk them up to areas with which I have a disagreement with the Administration.

But, there is no way in God’s green earth that Gonzales should resign over the US Attorneys kerfluffle. The following rogues gallery of corrupt democrats should resign before anybody else on the republican side. I’m not going to hold my breath waiting for Big News to demand accountability and honesty from the democrats. And, since they won’t, and because political attention spans are notoriously short, it is my pleasure to bring you this quick look at the top ten current crop of corrupt democrats who should absolutely resign.

By the way, I’ve included a news link with each photo. Just click on the photo to take you to the background story. Enjoy, and have a great weekend, y’all.

How could I forget about Abscam Jack? Sheesh.

  1. Absolutely not!
The leftards have been trying to chip away at Bush and his administration since 2000. Rumsfeld resigned, Libby got prosecuted persecuted, because they thought he would give up someone higher up on the Totem pole. That’s all the leftards want, is to continue to attack the integrity of the Bush administration in anyway they can.
What is disappointing is the lack of cohesion and the willingness to fight back, the GOP has shown. Hagel should be cut-off from any party support, verbal, moral, or financial.
As for the leftards, they didn’t criticize Janet Reno Doubtfire for torching nearly one hundred people at Mt. Carmel, they didn’t criticize her for forcibly removing Elian Gonzales from his relatives home in Florida and handing him over to Castro’s corrupt government; they didn’t criticize Doubtfire for undermining the investigation of an Independent Prosecutor, Ken Starr, and we could go on and on about the abuses of power and illegal acts carried out by the leftards in the Dhimmicrat party, such as William “Ice Cube” Jefferson from La., and of course Sen. DiFi’s corruption and subsequent resignation from the Chair of the Military Construction Appropriations subcommittee, for the conflict of interest with her husbands two defense contractor companies.
No, this is a make believe scandal, as the U.S. Attorneys can be hired and fired for any reason, including bad taste in ties. Not only should Gonzales not resign, but everyone in the GOP needs to close ranks and fight back against the leftards attempts to control the make-up and members of the Bush administration.
A line needs to be drawn, and if the leftards are unapolegetic for the illegal and unethical conduct of their party members, there is no reason to give them anything they want…GIVE THE LEFTARDS NOTHING, save the back of our hands.

  2. Hear, hear. Or is it here, here?

  3. It is neither, it is here and there…ya’hear?

  4. I think it’s hare hare! HarHar! 😉 I’m down South don’t ya know.

    Thanks for the link, nuke!

Gonzales won’t be fired and he won’t resign. But his name will permanently be on the spinning dial that rotates which person in the Bush administration that the dems and their executive arm, the press, attack with misinformation and accusations. The Libby trial is over, Rummy has resigned, so they need fresh meat.

Something tells me the firing of 8 republican prosecutors will not resonate with the voters.

It used to be Rove/Rummy/Cheney and now it will be Rove/Gonzales/Cheney. I hear that next week it will be Cheney’s turn again.

  5. I dunno, he might resign if he gets tired enough of the bullsh**. (I have a very low tolerance for it myself.)

  6. I agree wif ya all the way bro….The following rogues gallery of corrupt democrats should resign before anybody else on the republican side. I’m not going to hold my breath waiting for Big News to demand accountability and honesty from the democrats…amen!…kettle callin what black? for the linky love!
