CAIR endorses Pelosi junket

Now, there can be no doubt that the Pelosi junket to Syria was a complete psy-op victory for the islamo-fascists, as the trip has won the favorable endorsement of America’s premiere source of taqiyya kitman, the islamic supremists at CAIR. Not only endorsing Pelosi’s visit, but also calling for the adoption of the recommendations of the Iraq Surrender Group (dang, I had completely forgotten about those losers).

from Ummah News Links [the most outstanding source for breaking news on islamo-fascism on the entire world wide web, in my humble opinion]:

The San Francisco Bay Area chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-SFBA) today commended House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for the spirit of dialogue and mutual respect she exhibited during her visit to the Middle East.

pelosiburqa2.jpgIn a statement, CAIR-SFBA said: “We applaud Speaker Pelosi’s initiative to use constructive dialogue as a tool for resolving conflicts. America’s stature in the Islamic world has been harmed by the Bush administration’s emphasis on the use of military force, or the threat of force, rather than dialogue and diplomacy. Speaker Pelosi’s visit to the Middle East is a vital step forward in both improving our nation’s international image and building better relations with
important nations in that volatile region.

“In particular, Speaker Pelosi’s visit to the Umayyad mosque in Damascus will contribute greatly to promoting mutual understanding between the West and the Muslim world. It is through mutual understanding that religious divisions and extremism can be challenged and reduced.

“We urge President Bush to implement the recommendations of the Iraq Study Group by working with Congress and Speaker Pelosi to formulate a new strategy that focuses on diplomacy and dialogue, not military force and belligerent rhetoric.”

I have to thank CAIR for coming out with their endorsement. It’s not like I needed any guidance on discerning the value of the Pelosi visit, but, just as a news barometer, as such, if CAIR says it’s good, I know it’s just the taqiyya oozing out.

Mrs. Nuke and I will be busy sanding the floors, and trying to get all the sawdust up before applying the urethane, as well as painting and primping the Nuke Estate getting it all ready for market, but I’ll be checking in from time to time.

Update: N2l offers up Jimmy Weatherspoon, On the Outskirts of Town for your video-viewing pleasure….enjoy!

Pat Dollard says “I told you so”

The Brits got their 15 hostages back from Iran, but at what price? Pat Dollard says “I told you so”, with all the details:

Yesterday, I was borne out. And a week ago, my prediction of one of the main motives for the hostage crisis, down to the specific man that the Iranians wanted back, was entirely correct.

Yet nowhere else in the mainstream media or blogosphere were you given much of a clue as to all of this.

Wildcats snare Aggies’ Gillispie

from myway news:

Billy Gillispie was hired as Kentucky’s sixth coach in the last 76 years on Friday, a person familiar with the search process told The Associated Press. He’ll replace Tubby Smith, who spent a decade under the glare of college basketball’s brightest spotlight before bolting to Minnesota two weeks ago.

Gillispie, who led Texas A&M to the NCAA tournament’s round of 16 this year for the first time since 1980, will be introduced at a 12:15 p.m. EST pep rally at Memorial Coliseum followed by a 12:45 news conference, said the person who spoke on condition of anonymity pending an official announcement.

The Wildcats turned to Gillispie after another Billy – Florida’s Billy Donovan – decided Thursday to stay with the Gators. The team also had permission to talk with Texas’ Rick Barnes, who indicated he wasn’t interested.

Gillispie replaces Tubby Smith, who left the Wildcats after 10 seasons to take the head coaching job in Minnesota last month, despite having four years left on his contract.

Gillispie is 100-58 in five seasons as a head coach. He spent the last three years with the Aggies, molding the longtime also-ran into a Big 12 power. Texas A&M went 27-7 this season.

Impressive record at A&M for Mr. Gillispie. The Kentucky honeymoon will last one season, then he will be expected to perform at a level that includes regular SEC championships, as well as regular trips to the Final Four. Even the great Rick Pitino felt the pressure from the Kentucky faithful. Only when he went to Louisville after a lackluster NBA stint did the Blue Nation realize how good they had it with Rick at the helm.

I don’t wish Billy Gillispie luck at Kentucky, but I do wish him well. Welcome to the SEC.
