Fresh pickin’s from FNC Political Grapevine:
During a rally in support of the Senate’s immigration bill last Thursday — Senators Ted Kennedy, Mel Martinez and others frequently referred to a large stack of boxes they said contained a million letters of support for immigration reform.
But Roll Call Newspaper reports one of its photographers checked the boxes and found they were empty. And a spokesman for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus —which helped coordinate the event — confirms that is true.
Carlos Sanchez says actually bringing 310 boxes full of letters would have presented a security headache in a box-spooked world.
Presenting stage props as the Real Deal, and then being exposed as a fraud is deliciously ironic, but I’m sure the Admiral, Trent, and the boys probably fail to see the humor.

What a bunch of pathetic losers! This is, I’m sorry to say, so typical of the Left. It’s not the first time I’ve heard of their lying through their teeth or manipulating polls to create a false impression. It’s no less infuriating for seeming to be an accepted common practice these days.
I didn’t know they had used visual aids.
However, using empty boxes and empty promises to promote an empty bill just doesn’t surprise me. I have never seen such blatant disregard for the will of the people, as I am seeing from DC on this bill.

How many illegals drive without insurance? So, we make them legal and what happens? You think they will pay $1.500 to $2,000 for auto insurance over night? The media has been pushing this bill. Only conservative blogs and talk radio are investigating the implications.
Okay, let me get this straight. We make the present illegals all legal, the employers who have been hiring them will have to have workmen’s comp on them, pay them a legally-mandated wage because they are now American workers, and….wait a minute, how do we know the employers won’t hire new illegals to compete with other businesses that are also hiring illegals?
