When you’re through chuckling, here are a couple of other stories that have come up on the NG radar screen:

P.A. urges palestinian Arabs to “return” (h/t Free Republic)

The Palestinian Authority is planning to mark Israel’s 60th anniversary by calling on all Palestinians living abroad to converge on Israel by land, sea and air. The plan, drawn by Ziad Abu Ein, a senior Fatah operative and Deputy Minister for Prisoners’ Affairs in the Palestinian Authority, states that the Palestinians have decided to implement United Nations Resolution 194 regarding the refugees.

Article 11 of the resolution, which was passed in December 1948, says that “refugees wishing to return to their homes and live at peace with their neighbors should be permitted to do so at the earliest practicable date, and that compensation should be paid for the property of those choosing not to return and for loss of or damage to property which, under principles of international law or in equity, should be made good by the Governments or authorities responsible.”

  1. Had B-HO’s speech on Fox, but when he started in on the mustard and relish BS story, my remote jumped across the room, and forced itself into my hand.
That was supposed to be his moment to make amends for twenty years of bad judgement?
I’ve heard a five year old give a better explano for a broken lamp than B-HO did for his bad judgement.

  2. Buckley was on Rush? My blogging partner? He’s been hiding that little tidbit from me…which isn’t surprising, given his selfish, me-me-me attitude. I know he was on Laura Ingraham…but Rush too? Sheesh. I’m in the company of real writers.

  3. Didn’t get to listen to anyone for long today, as the weather was so crappilicious. The storm started around 8a.m., and was very, very intense for most of the day, with over 4 inches of rain at 6p.m., and it hasn’t stopped yet, nor is it supposed to, until almost 8a.m. in the morning. The bad part was the lightening, it was making ground strikes all over the place, and I was without power here for over six hours. Luckily I got home before that, as a city this size, with flashing traffic lights, doesn’t make for a normal ride home.

  4. Oh, that’s right. It was Laura Ingraham.

    I misremembered.
Must have been thinking about the time People’s Cube was featured on Rush, about the same time that Buckley was on Laura’s show.

  5. I say a quick edit should do the trick.
