Buffet sings for obama

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — The mayor of Margaritaville is jumping into this year’s political fray. Jimmy Buffett plans a free concert Sunday in Tampa to urge people to vote for Democrat Barack Obama for president. The “Last Chance for Change” rally and concert is happening two days before the election at the outdoor Ford Amphitheatre. People can get two free tickets by visiting any of the early voting information tables the Obama campaign has set up in the Tampa Bay area. Show time is 3 p.m.

Sure hope ol’ Jimmy doesn’t forget to file the proper paperwork for an “in-kind” contribution to Zero’s campaign.

Let’s be sure to check those filings.

Also, I’ve got several Buffet albums free for the taking. Of course, you’re going to have to fish them out of the lagoon.

  1. I never liked Buffett. Never got what it was that so many found appealing about his schlock.
So, I had already written him off.
I was not happy to hear that the Allman Brothers had also performed for B-HO. Now that pissed me off.

  2. Are they real albums? I’m assuming so. 33’s are real good for long distance target practice. You can see when you hit them. 🙂

  3. I’m never happy to hear anyone support the libtards. But it does let me separate the person from the persona. If they have to mouth of about supporting the left, they get nothing from me. (it means nothing to them, I know) I prefer people like the late Paul Newman. A bit more low key like most of the conservatives.

  4. Me too, Robert D.
I can only vote once each election(in theory), but I can vote with my dollars each day.

The moral of this midterm for all would-be pollsters: if you are really interested in how many of us red and blue balls there are in this great big urn, sit back and relax until Tuesday, and let us show our true colors.

Until then, fondle your own balls.
