So Long, Texas Stadium

Sad to see it go.

  1. Yep, got up early so I could watch it.
Went there many times, but only once for a Cowboy’s game.
Other than many, many high school football playoff games, my favorite memory was the 1994 ‘Division Bell’ concert by Pink Floyd. What a show.

  2. Of all the memorable football plays at Texas Stadium, this one is still my Number One memory. This was in the state championship game, and sealed SLC’s third straight national title.

  3. You may not know the wonderful story of Casey Rogers, and how he came to be selected to push the button.
This young man has a good heart and is wise beyond his eleven years.

  4. What a weird feeling when I got back in town and drove past the remains of Texas Stadium. I was only in the stadium twice, once for a monster truck rally and a Thanksgiving day game against the Vikings a few years back. Watching the Cowboys in the stadium for about 38 + years and going by it for about 22 years will have that effect I guess.
