Friday night before the Alabama game

My expectations for the State-Alabama game Saturday ….

We go a-ridin’ into town, a-whompin’ and a-whumpin’ every livin’ thing that moves within an inch of its life. Except the women folks, of course.

You spare the women?

Naw, we rape the shit out of them at the Number Six Dance later on.

  1. I hope the Bullies approach this game as Genghis Khan would have.

“The greatest things in life are to crush your enemies, to see them fall at your feet – to take their horses and goods and hear the lamentation of their women. That is best.”

  2. Hey Richard. This one’s for you, brah

My brother in law passed away this week.

He had been ill for some time, and the doctors weren’t optimistic about his recovery. But, even though we were expecting it, his death came unexpectedly, suddenly, and leaves the family with a sense of loss and emptiness that will always remain, always linger.

Richard loved hunting, fishing, and camping. And Richard truly loved Mississippi State. Some of our best times together were spent enjoying a fine victory cigar after cheering the Bullies on to another win. A couple of years ago, I bought Richard one of his most favorite birthday presents ever: a brand new cowbell. We rang our bells together the last time after last year’s Egg Bowl. He had been in the hospital for much of this football season, and the hospital staff made him stop ringing his bell during the A&M game. They said they were concerned he was getting his blood pressure too high, but I think it must have been an OM person in one of the rooms who was complaining.

We were planning on getting together this weekend to watch the game, and pull the Dogs through to the victory line. I have the victory cigars ready. And, I’ll be smoking mine in celebration of the victory, and in remembrance of my good friend, and dear brother in law, Richard. I know he’ll be watching and clanging right along with all of us.

    • Nuke, I send my condolences to the family. The Dawgs will bring home a win in remembrance of Richard.

    • Dang, Nuke.
      Sure hate to hear that.
My sincerest condolences to you and your family.
May this be a day of joy, celebrating the end of his suffering and the Ol’number six in Tuscaloosa.

  3. The way I heard it is there are a pack of wild and hungry DAWGS that are going to devour that stadium today and not even going to leave any bones behind for evidence of that attack.
    Good hunting and eating DAWGS!!!!

    SHOW NO MERCY!!!!

  4. Dangit!
Was hoping the Bullies would win out, not just for State players and fans, but for your friend, as well.

  5. well dang.
maybe we’ll get them again in the playoffs. on a neutral site.
