Get the Strategic Petroleum Reserve Filled Now

About a year ago, the Obama administration ordered the release of several million barrels of oil from the SPR at a time of high oil prices.  It has not been replenished.

Currently the SPR is about 30 million barrels shy of full capacity.  source

I can’t think of a good reason not to get it back to full capacity, especially since prices are at a multi-year low.

For the first execution in Texas for 2015, after two earlier stays this January, comes one Arnold Prieto. He will finally face justice for his part in the murders of three elderly people twenty two years ago.

It’s difficult to understand why it has taken so long, perhaps the fact that there are two other defendants in this case contributed to the numerous and time consuming legal procedures.

There is some conflicting information about the crimes Prieto is being punished for, some say it was his elderly relatives that were murdered, but I will rely on the Texas OAG as the factual source.

The OAG provides the following info:

The Hernandez brothers, Lupe and Jesse, were friends of [Prieto]’s who supplied [him] with free cocaine. The Hernandez brothers, particularly Lupe, would often mention a rich uncle in San Antonio, Rodolfo Rodriguez, who was married to the brothers’ aunt, Virginia Rodriguez. They told [Prieto] their uncle was a loan shark who kept a closet full of money.

[Prieto] and Lupe began taking cocaine early on the day of the offense which occurred in September 1993. Lupe repeatedly asserted that he wanted to go to San Antonio to get his uncle’s money. [Prieto]’s confession claimed Lupe “pressured” [him] into going to San Antonio to get his uncle’s money. The Hernandez brothers and [Prieto] set off from Carrollton in [Prieto]’s car for the victims’ home in San Antonio. They took cocaine throughout the trip.

During the penalty phase of Prieto’s trial, jurors learned that Prieto was federally indicted in January 1994 for engaging in organized criminal activity and stealing 163 laptop computers – worth approximately $676,000 – from his Dallas-area employer. Prieto was associated with an organized-crime ring involved in the theft and resale of various products: tires, chemicals, furniture, and computers. The jury also heard evidence that, while incarcerated awaiting trial, Prieto was disciplined for multiple instances of disobeying orders, violating security rules, possession of contraband, yelling, and changing television channels without permission. Finally, jurors learned that Prieto was arrested and confessed to the 1990 burglaries of a Lincoln, two trucks, and two vans.

Some time after 6p.m.CDT Prieto will finally pay the debt he owes the state of Texas for murder. His short, but menacing criminal ways will come to an end.

Execution Watch: Charles Frederick Warner

Final Justice in Oklahoma

McAlester, OK. (AP)

Charles Frederick Warner’s execution for the 1997 killing of an 11-month-old girl in Oklahoma City lasted 18 minutes. Prison officials declared him dead at 7:28 p.m. CST.

“Before I give my final statement, I’ll tell you they poked me five times. It hurt. It feels like acid,” Warner said before his execution began. He added, “I’m not a monster. I didn’t do everything they said I did.”

After the first drug, the sedative midazolam, was administered and a microphone inside the death chamber was turned off, Warner said, “My body is on fire.” But he showed no obvious signs of distress.

Witnesses said they saw slight twitching in Warner’s neck about three minutes after the lethal injection started. The twitching lasted about seven minutes until he stopped breathing.

The young girl would be 17 years old now, if this scum had not raped and murdered her.

Gov. Mary Fallin’s comment sums up this case, and the certain finality that Warner will be permanently removed from the human gene pool:

“Justice was served tonight as the state executed Charles Warner for the heinous crime of raping and murdering an infant,”

Taking out the garbage, indeed.

 

This President Needs to Eat his Spinach

I had to read this statement a couple of times to try and make some sense of it:

President Barack Obama has a moral responsibility to push back on the nation’s journalism community when it is planning to publish anti-jihadi articles that might cause a jihadi attack against the nation’s defenses forces, the White House’s press secretary said Jan. 12.

It still makes little sense to me that Obama is willing to sacrifice the First Amendment in order to mollify the Islamics.

It also reminded me of a cartoon that I watched as a child.  Popeye the Sailor certainly wasn’t concerned about offending the Imperial Japanese Navy when he sang, “You’re A Sap, Sap, Sap Mr. Jap.”

Who are you gonna believe, Obama or Osama?

Call me an #AngryClinger

You can call me an angry white man, clinging to my guns and religion.  I actually like this description.  It fits.  I’m an #AngryClinger.

I’m angry that death cult terrorists continue to kill and maim in the name of their religion and in the name of their god.

I’m mad that some Western theologists want to equate the god of the cultists with The LORD God Almighty.  It offends me.

By now, you’ve read about the latest mass murder in the name of the prophet of the death cult.  As more is learned, we will hear the same Western apologists making the same ridiculous statements that these murders have nothing to do with islam; that the murdered shouldn’t have offended the murderers; that a backlash against innocent moslems will occur by #angryclingers (who are basically islamophobes anyway); that conservative Christians are just as evil because they oppose special rights for homosexuals; and of course, that Israel is somehow to blame.

I have the solution to death cult terrorism, and it is very simple.  That doesn’t mean that it is in any way easy.  I’ll detail the solution in a future post, and when you read it, you’ll be amazed that no one thought of it before.  But, that’s for later.

Today’s exercise in evil by the death cult is only the most recent event that has made me angry.  I’m mad about several things:

1. I’m mad that John Boehner is still Speaker of the House, and Congress is still for sale:  Business As Usual.
2. I’m mad that some of the same people who said they would vote to replace Boehner, betrayed their supporters.
3. I’m mad that Al Sharpton still owes an unpaid tax debt of over 4 million dollars, and the IRS has not moved to seize his assets or levy his income.
4. I’m mad that nothing has been done about the politicization of the IRS, the EPA, the DOJ, BLM, ATF, VA, and others that have betrayed the public trust, committed acts of deception, perjury, obfuscation, concealment, political blackmail, to name a few, all with the knowledge and approval of the motherfucker in the White House.
5. I’m mad that the 4th Estate has devolved into a 5th Column.
6. I’m mad that the ones who see these things happening and want to hold the line against them are demonized and marginalized by this very same 5th Column.
7. I’m mad that our government is over $18 Trillion in debt, with no end in sight, and the only way we are still managing to keep the lights on is because the Federal Reserve continues to monetize the debt through Quantitative Easing I, II, III, and soon, QE-IV.
8. I’m mad that the above alphabet agencies continue to ignore lawful Constitutional oversight by the Congress, which of course is ignored by the 5th Column, and I’m mad that the Congress hasn’t raised hell about it.
9. I’m mad that the racial divisions in our country have been stirred to the boiling point by professional agitators, race mongers, communists, and moslems, who have resorted to arson, assault, and assassination of police officers to achieve their goal of “fundamentally changing” our country.
10. I’m mad that the 2 frontrunners for the 2016 Presidential election are named Bush and Clinton.
