Wonders Never Cease! SCOTUS Upholds Texas Voter ID Law

What a pleasant pre-college football Saturday this has turned out to be.

In an unsigned 6-3 decision, the SCOTUS has “ordered” that the voter ID law be allowed…for now.

I have no idea how the ID law will fare in further court actions, as the federal judge(appointed by President Obola) is determined to prove the law is unconstitutional, which the SCOTUS did not address in this order.

In any event, it is a happy day knowing that for at least this federal election(early voting in Texas starts Monday the 20th) voters that make an appearance at polling stations will have to identify themselves. This gives legal voters more certainty and confidence that their vote actually means something.

At least for this election, the race-baiters and other libturds that would weaken the election process are pushed back.

Perry’s Indictment~Round 2

AUSTIN — The special prosecutor in the case against Gov. Rick Perry is asking for some help.
San Antonio lawyer Michael McCrum, who guided the case to last month’s indictment, filed a motion Friday asking a state court to fund a co-counsel.

Sounds ominous, that the Governor’s legal team is actually fighting back with motions and the libturd’s hand picked lawyer is overwhelmed with answering…both of them.

As mentioned in another post, this was never about Gov. Perry violating the constitution, it was about violating the law of the libturds which states their officials can never and should never be held to any societal standards or laws that the “little people” should.
Or as John Ransom at Townhall stated in a column well worth the read:

The main point to the libturds wanting the Perry indictment hasn’t changed, the conviction is meaningless only the indictment matters and the libturd media got the memo, every time Gov. Perry is mentioned by one of the LSM outlets it is always “the indicted Gov. Perry.”

To further illustrate how low the chances are of Gov. Perry being convicted are, it seems the aforementioned Michael McCrum is facing very serious contempt of court charges.

Prosecutors filed a contempt of court motion against San Antonio-based attorney Michael McCrum in January, after a separate case the previous fall. In it, one of McCrum’s clients was convicted of manslaughter for driving his car the wrong-way down an interstate with a blood-alcohol level three times the legal limit, and sparking a head-on crash that killed two men.
McCrum was accused of telling his client’s former addiction counselor to “get lost for a while” and not be available to testify at the trial’s punishment phase.

Yes, Gov. Perry has reason to smile, the smell of libturd fail has that effect on reasonable people.

Gov. Perry Shows How To “Mug” For The Camera

The radical left apparently doesn’t care about optics, as long as they can get an indictment on a GOP politician that poses any kind of threat to their electoral designs.

If they cared about optics, the last thing they would want is to remind of us the drunken fool Rosemary Lehmberg who was arrested for DUI in 2013 with a BAT of .239(.08 is the legal standard).

Besides the fact that Gov. Perry was using his constitutional authority that the Dems claim is illegal, and many liberal commentators are groaing over their charge, this event has not gone quite the way the Dems had hoped.

Ted Nugent Enjoys Some Play Time On CNN

I never watch CNN. NEVER. So it came as a surprise to me that the “Nuge” would appear on this network, though I know he has before with the soon to be departed Piers Morgan.

Ted appeared on a CNN show with some woman named Erin Burnett, who was oh-so serious about the most awful/hateful/racist things he said about our current President.  I’m certain she believed that her “gotcha” style journalism would serve as an ambush Ted could never survive.  After all, he had actually apologized for calling the President a “subhuman mongrel.”

What Ted understands about ambushes, unlike this Burnett person and far too many Republicans that appear on left wing news programs, is the most effective way to defeat an ambush is to charge the fire.  Which Ted did, mocking her and those she attempted to defend.

As outraged as this Burnett person was about his reference to a “chimpanzee” when discussing Hillary, I doubt she even noticed that President Bush was often referred to as a “chimpanzee” while he was in office, or if she did she thought it proper.

In any event, I need to thank the BirtherReport for providing the video segment with Ted, otherwise I would have never known it took place.

Michael Sam And Dale Hansen “Come Out”

You may or may not know who these two are or what they have in common, though I doubt they have ever met.

Sam is currently a former football player at the University of Missouri that was voted the SEC Defensive Player of the Year and is expected to be drafted by an NFL team.

Hansen is a long time television sportscaster for Dallas WFAA.  I doubt he ever played football, but poses as a tough guy/know-it-all motor mouth.  At least he did the last time I watched him twenty years ago.

Sam recently announced to the world that he was homosexual. As a result, many pathetic attention seekers sang his praises and proclaimed him as “Courageous,” such as Michelle Soetero-Obama, Ellen Degenerate and the aforementioned Hansen.

Why this young man chose to tell everyone what his deviant sexual practices are remain unclear. Rush Limbaugh had a very interesting discussion about the Hansen/Sam issue on Thursday.  This link to his show has all the info and a great discussion:

CALLER:  My point was, though, if the football players are not supposed to feel anything about this or be uncomfortable in the showers — you know, in the locker room, in the showers — in that case, why don’t the cheerleaders and the football players shower together?  I mean, if nobody’s supposed to feel uncomfortable.

RUSH:  Hmm.  Let me see if I understand this.  Let’s take this beyond cheerleaders, because cheerleaders are not gonna be in the locker room of football teams. But you’re still trying to make a point here.

Hansen has always tried(with minimal success) to draw attention to himself and finally found a cause that would do just that, parlaying a rant I am only vaguely familiar with praising Sam and telling us we should “celebrate” Sam for letting us know he has Gender Identity Disorder.

The militant homosexual agenda marches on.

Not courageous, destructive

Rather than praise either of them I encourage them both to seek professional counseling.

The last time I ever watched a Dale Hansen show was when Barry Switzer was the Dallas Cowboys head coach.  I have no idea why I actually tuned into the show when I did, I was probably channel surfing and saw Barry “The King” Switzer was on.  During the interview Hansen made no attempt to hide the contempt he had for Coach Switzer and the tone of the interview became increasingly hostile due to Hansen’s attitude.  At one point Switzer, becoming increasingly agitated due to Hansen’s nastiness, half-heartedly punched Hansen on his arm.  Hansen screamed and wailed like a girly-man. One would have gotten the impression he was a side of beef and Switzer was Rocky.

Neither Sam or Hansen have earned or deserve any praise for their behavior in this matter.  Sam would have served his interest better by not telling us what most of us do not want or need to know.  Hansen, well I don’t know what would serve his interest best and wouldn’t tell him even if I knew.

NFL has more integrity than Mainstream Media

Poor ol’ Brian Stropolo.  He posted pictures of himself at a New Orleans Saints pre-season tailgate party on Facebook.  ESPN found out and told on him.  Rightly so, I believe.  Especially since he was supposed to officiate a Saints game.

At least the NFL had the integrity to remove  him.  The NFL pulled him from the game to avoid the appearance of impropriety.

You probably heard about it.

Now I know that politics is nowhere near as important as professional football.  So, I guess I’m not real surprised to see this story at Fox News.

A CNN political reporter last week tweeted a link to a fundraising page for the Obama campaign — one selling tickets for as much as $5,000 for a Milwaukee, Wis., reception. 

But, still.  Seriously CNN?  You care nothing about the appearance of impropriety?

When asked, CNN didn’t even respond.

I’ve Never Been To NYC And I Never Will

I would have that etched in a grave stone if I were to be buried, instead of cremated.

About the only thing I’m missing by not going are some interesting historical sites and museums. The rest of it they can keep. I’ve got all the multi-culti I can handle right here in Texas and competing with so many millions living on top of each other for resources holds no appeal for me. As far as that goes, Dallas is much bigger than I prefer, but I couldn’t make any money living in a small town like the one I grew up in.

I have never been required to go to NYC for business and that is the only reason I would be compelled to go. Not only for the reasons listed already, but for a few others, one being I would be arrested and charged with defacing a national monument within hours after arriving, as what I would do at Grant’s tomb would never pass for roses.

The newest reasons to reinforce my vow never to go there are much more contemporary, such as the idiotic and faithful liberal policy makers and voters. Not just some anti-freedom idiots telling me what I can and cannot eat or drink, but for those same fools requiring any tools I may prefer to protect myself being forbidden for most residents and for visitors.

We already know how anti-gun the liberals in NYC are(both pols and the public), which is enough to write that place off as a destination, but they even have laws against certain types of pocket knives. That’s right, pocket knives!

Here is a story about a visitor to NYC, a bible college student from Pa.

In New York state, it’s illegal to carry a “gravity knife” — a knife with a blade that is released from its handle by flicking a wrist and then locks into place. A switchblade, also illegal to carry in New York, isn’t a gravity knife because a spring opens the blade. A typical Swiss Army knife — legal, in theory — also isn’t a gravity knife because it can’t be opened just by flicking.

Read it all, it is truly a sad commentary on life in what is supposed to be one of America’s greatest cities. If I were to be in that God forsaken city, I would really be in trouble, as I carry a “gravity” pocket knife, a small fixed blade in my wallet and a “necklace” fixed blade. I’ve carried a pocket knife since I was about seven years old, a Schrade folder given to me by my grandfather, a knife I carried in my pocket for almost twenty years. It was replaced because of another gift knife and because the blade was so worn down from sharpening and use, it was only valuable as a keepsake and not as a tool.

All this only reinforces my desire to never visit NYC and apparently there is at least one other young man who feels the same way, a college freshman from Pa. with a criminal record.

“I don’t plan on visiting New York unless I have to,” he said.

Me either, young man.
Now, I think I will clean some clean guns and think of the place where I belong.

They abhor the Constitution and would like to see it abolished or altered to suit their dysfunctional view. They have attacked or destroyed nearly every traditional institution in this country.

They are not deserving of the appelation “American.” They are pusilanimous and parasitic.

This now not only applies to liberals/Marxists, but for any that call themselves Democrats or vote for any that belong to that party, including RINOs.

Steve Wynn finally sees the light and criticizes Obama? Go to Hell, you raging idiot, you still vote as a Democrat and support the scoundrel and miscreant Harry Reid. How about an apology to America, asshole.

Peggy Noonan, you defended and swooned over Obama in ’08, criticized McCain and never stated how you voted. You are a RINO GOP establishment mouthpiece that had this to say yesterday:

The outcome of the election for Wisconsin Supreme Court would please Eric Cartman, and yes, he would lick “the tears of unfathomable sadness” from the radical left that had so much invested in JoAnne Kloppenburg winning.

With a big bowl of Shadenfruede chili to comfort Kloppenburg after her premature victory speech, we now have the gnashing of fangs and wails of “conspiracy” and “election-rigging” by the radical left. They served us up with such a delicious array of schadenfruede, it is really more of a goulash than a chili.

How about this big chunk of red meat the Krazy Kos Kidz offered up the day after the election, with 429 celebratory and gloating libturd comments:

He and his guests were busy determining the significance of the Kloppenburg victory, all the while the breaking news of the new vote count is crawling on the bottom of the screen. It was a delicious spicy addition to the stew. Then, for perhaps the first time in history, Michael Mooron actually contributed to the stew pot, instead of devouring it all, by going on a twitter binge.

The lefturds were just entirely too generous this week, when all they had to do was try and be rational about a close election and wait for the official results, but I couldn’t expect them to behave in a fashion contrary to their nature.

Now they are upset, but the rational adult voices are displacing their tantrums. Such as Nate Silver of the NYSlimes, of all places.

Nevertheless, if you want to allege that there’s a conspiracy afoot, the statistical evidence tends to work against you. Waukesha County’s revised turnout figures are pretty normal for Waukesha County, a wealthy, white suburban county that usually votes at high rates, whereas its original figures were at the low end of reasonable expectations, given the way the rest of the state voted.

Also of note is that the number of votes that Ms. Nickolaus says she failed to count in Brookfield, amounting to 11 percent of the county total, is in line with the proportion Brookfield normally represents: the city supplied 11 percent of Waukesha County’s total vote in both the 2008 and 2010 general elections.

If this was a conspiracy, it was one executed with an extraordinarily high degree of cunning and competence. I’m more inclined to think that Ms. Nickolaus, who has drawn complaints for her sloppy management practices in the past, is no savvier than she seems.

One thing libturds should learn in all this is, never celebrate too soon and never EVER mess with Eric Cartman.

Calling Krugman An A$$-Hole Is Being Civil

For such a despicable liberal hack, the above descriptive term is within the realm of civility. Personally, I liken Krugman to the toxic, bacterial laden contents that depart said orifice, but I digress.

On Friday night’s episode of Fox News show “Red Eye,” pollster (and non Kool-Aid drinking Democrat) Pat Caddell accurately describes Krugman.

A CBS News Poll shows that 57% surveyed, including 57% Independents, do not associate political rhetoric with the shooting.

A Rasmussen Poll released Thursday, January 13, 2010, writes that 62% survey think that stricter gun rules would not have avoided the Arizona shooting, and 58% say so in the above CBS Poll.

56% in the above Rasmussen poll say that the United States does not need stricter gun laws.

Only fifteen percent, again: only 15%, in a Quinnipiac Poll taken January 10-11, say that Overheated Political Rhetoric was a main reason for the Arizona Shooting, and only 9% say lax gun laws was the main reason. IN FACT, 40% in this poll say this shooting could not have been prevented!

36% in the above poll say that liberals are more responsible for heated political rhetoric, versus 32% who say Conservatives are more responsible.

As for Krugman’s statement “If Arizona promotes some real soul-searching, it could prove a turning point. If it doesn’t, Saturday’s atrocity will be just the beginning,” he was actually prescient, but not in the way he foresaw.

As for the a$$-hole Krugman, I’m confident the 50 or 60 subscribers the NYSlimes has support his false and iniquitous claims, unreservedly. Which insures he will never behave any differently.

Some how the rest of us will manage to survive without his caustic partisan rhetoric and distortions of reality. We have managed to do so quite nicely so far, for one simple reason.
