A couple of days in New Orleans.

A friend of mine was saying to me on the elevator this morning, “It’s a nice place to visit, but I’m ready to go home.”

I said, “No. It’s not even a nice place to visit anymore.”

Sure is good to be back home.

    If your Windows XP denies to run due to an error related to missing HAL.DLL, invalid Boot.ini or any other important system boot files you can fix this by using the XP installation CD. Just boot from your XP Setup CD and enter the Recovery Console. Then run “attrib -H -R -S” on the C:\Boot.ini file and delete it. Launch “Bootcfg /Rebuild” and then Fixboot
